The transfer of a Sukhoi Su-34 fighter jet has surprised many after it appeared on a highway and was pulled by vehicle near the Russian city of Voronezh.
The aircraft, which was spotted by a camera installed inside a car, was removed and its wings were removed to facilitate transport.
The newspaper “The Aviationist” specialized in aviation affairs that if the plane was transferred in another way, it would not arouse attention, but that the aircraft is withdrawn from this model and move on the highway on its wheels, this happens only in Russia.
The paper said the numbers on the nose and fuselage are identical, and it is likely to be one of at least four planes deployed at Basil al-Assad International Airport in Latakia in northwestern Syria in late 2015.
The paper suggests that the plane may be heading to a base in the city of Voronezh to be used in the field of training.
